Tea

TEA HELPS WEIGHT LOSS

A recent study of more than 1100 people found that those who drank tea regularly (at least once a week for more than 10 years) had 20% less body fat than those who drank none.

The study took into account various lifestyle factors, including age, physical activity and food intake. The results applied to a variety of teas including black, green and herbal teas. The study conducted at the Obesity Research center, department of Family Medicine in Taiwan and reported in "Obesity Research" concludes that tea may increase the body's metabolic rate while lowering absorption of sugars and fat-producing molecules.
